The project “I understand, I accept it” promotes non-formal and informal learning mobility and active participation among young people. Participants will acquire skills, develop values, shape key competences through practical activities.
The project emphasizes cooperation, quality and inclusion of participants with fewer opportunities. An invaluable value is taking actions that will teach project participants how to work in a group and develop social competences. Participation in the project will allow its participants, both young people and accompanying persons, to understand the principles of democracy, cultural diversity, and will also affect the development of interests. The benefits gained from participation in the project will pay off during their stay at school and in the future when young people enter the labor market.
The aim of the project “I understand, I accept it” is to shape attitudes of tolerance and openness to other people among Polish and Ukrainian youth, and:
- shaping attitudes in the field of tolerance, acceptance among Polish and Ukrainian youth,
- strengthening soft skills in the field of interpersonal communication,
- getting to know the culture of the neighboring country
- breaking communication barriers,
- overcoming stereotypes concerning Poland and Ukraine
- increase in self-confidence of project participants and thus personal development,
The main theme of the project is tolerance and understanding differences, which leads to acceptance.
